From 1 July to 31 December 2011, Poland holds the six-month rotating Presidency of the European Union. It is the first EU Presidency for Poland, which joined the EU in 2004 becoming one of the "big six" EU countries. Paving the way for an agreement on the 2014-2020 budget, energy security and the European Union's Eastern neighbourhood are all key priorities of the Polish EU Presidency.
The EUKN Conference and the publication "The Urban Dimension of Cohesion Policy: lessons learned from integrated urban projects" were the final input of the Polish Urban Dimension of Cohesion Policy.
