Panel on Strategies for Equity and Resilience in Urban Europe for the Virtual Urban Thinkers Campus (4 June 2021)

EUKN’s Director Mart Grisel will be moderating a Panel on Strategies for Equity and Resilience in Urban Europe for the Virtual Urban Thinkers Campus tomorrow, 4 June (15.00-16.30 CEST).

This edition of the Urban Thinkers Campus is organised by the Kerala Institute of Local Administration - KILA and aims to bring together a wide range of partners and stakeholders to generate discourses that can contribute to embedding equity and resilience in Kerala’s future urban strategy.

Kerala is the southernmost state of India which is rapidly transitioning into an urban society. Exposure to natural hazards and climate change induced events demand for an inclusive climate resilient urban policy to generate a future urban strategy. Under the focal theme of ‘Climate Action’, the Urban Thinkers Campus offers a great opportunity to deliberate on the lessons learned and future opportunities for Kerala.
