Policy Lab: Urban Mobility, Czech Republic
The Policy Lab for the Czech Republic on the topic of Urban Mobility took place on 14 November 2017 in Prague and was organised by the EUKN secretariat along with the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Regional Development. Urban Mobility is one of the themes of the Urban Agenda for the EU and seeks to propose solutions to improve the framework conditions for urban mobility for cities across the EU.
The Czech Republic, being one of the coordinating partners of the Partnership on Urban Mobility, seeks to include additional input to the draft Action Plan. The EUKN Policy Lab generated information on two key topics to be integrated into the Action Plan. These topics are Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS), and were presented during the Policy Lab by two experts, Mr Nuno Norte Pinto and Mr Teemu Surakka.
