The EUKN in 2019

The EUKN Secretariat wishes everyone a happy and productive new year. In 2019, the EUKN EGTC will welcome three new members, namely, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain to join the network. The EUKN will continue to provide strategic knowledge support and networking opportunities to our members. This is what you can expect from the EUKN in the new year:

  • Policy Labs for each EUKN Member: The EUKN Policy Labs are tailor-made expert meeting on a topic chosen by the EUKN country. The first Policy Labs of 2019 will be held in Germany on the Sustainable Development Goals and the New Urban Agenda. Please visit Policy Labs page for an overview of the Policy Labs that the EUKN organised in 2018.

  • Knowledge Dossiers on key urban topics: The knowledge dossiers will present policy and research with reference to a specific urban topic.

  • A European conference: A study and international conference on the impact of the urban agenda for the EU will take place in the second half of the year 2019.

  • Urban Agenda for the EU (UAEU): In 2019, the EUKN will continue its missions as a part of the Ecorys-led for the UAEU Technical Secretariat. More information on the UAEU, please visit the Futurium.
