Sarah holds a BA in International Relations and Romance Studies (Spanish) from the University of Erfurt, part of which she spent as an exchange student at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She currently pursues an MSc in Political Science with a focus on International Organisation at Leiden University.
Through her engagement as a volunteer in NGOs dealing with intercultural communication and international cooperation in Italy, as well as her practical insights into humanitarian aid in Ecuador and multilateral diplomacy in the UN, she is experienced in working in multicultural environments of both the governmental and non-governmental sector.
With a broad range of interests related to international cooperation and development, Sarah sees her internship at EUKN as a chance to expand her knowledge on sustainable urban development and European cooperation on urban policies. She is keen to engage in strengthening the relations of the network within and beyond Europe, in particular with partners from Latin America.
